The Julie Riese Memorial tournament was a great start to the season for our team! We started out the day with two tough losses, but used what we learned to get better. The highlight of our day was winning our final match in pool play with an exciting 27-25 finish! That win created a three way tie, in which we came out with the 2nd seed. The team was super excited to compete in the gold bracket, but fell to a talented Fond du Lac Fusion team in the semi finals. Overall, we are really proud of how the girls adjusted to various lineups and kept a positive attitude throughout the day! The great energy and work ethic that we witnessed will take us far this season!

15 RED
The 15 red team had a great start to the season, taking 2nd place in the Oshkosh Lords 16’s tournament this weekend! #PlayingUp After defeating Eclipse 16’s 25-12, 25-9 in the semis, the team ran out of energy against a very good Fox Valley Performance 16’s team. We were very encouraged with the consistent offense throughout the day. Our aggressive serving lead by Natalie Roloff with 12 aces kept the other teams on the defense. Lilly Bandle and Clarissa Jones each had 20 kills and Meredith Bock passed an awesome 2.54 for the first tournament of the year.
Great job girls! We are looking forward to an exciting season!!! Go I AM!!
16 RED
The team competed at the Red Knight Winter Games. It was a fun day filled with great plays and tons of laughter. It was a perfect tournament before we head into the Winter Classic in downtown Milwaukee. Not only was it a ton of fun, we WON! :) Check out the cool video of from the day! What I love about this team is how close they are as friends and that they can still enjoy the game.
Everyone played great but a special #ShoutOut to Ellie Lopata for hitting a ball so hard that it drop the jaws of her teammates and the parents!
