We were in a 5 team tournament this weekend with a round robin schedule and best record wins. This week we played with an alternative line-up but the all the kids played great! There were a lot of big moments for each player which made this weekend.
Phoebe picked up two serving pins and was one serve away from a 3rd.
Scout had the biggest diving save of the year to keep the rally going and we won that point!
Mia O set a 5-1 and made some sneaky setter dumps that scored.
Isley caught fire with her swings out of the middle scoring during game point rallies in a very tight match.
Maia had a huge solo block against one of the best hitters in the gym!
Lydia showed off her line shot and played all 6 rotations
Mia Z found her full layout dive a couple of times, even though it hurt a little bit :)
Maddie had a consistent serve and covered so much court this weekend.
Ava played as Outside Hitter and crushed balls. Stunning the other teams multiple times.
We went 2-2 for the day and were the only team to take a set off the undefeated team in the tournament. So much fun watching this group compete whole heartedly and find success in the small things. We have one more tournament this weekend and we head to Minnesota with the rest of the club for the final tournament of the season!
